Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi! I'm Jesse, the president of Clark Education Studies Program. This is my fourth year at Clark, my third year at SPLASH, and my sixth year teaching about the environment. At past SPLASHes, I taught Urban Ecology and Rowing. I'd love to see some of my former students come back!

m1150: Sewing 101 in Splash Spring 2024 (Apr. 07, 2024)
Come join the sewing circle! Students can choose whether they want to learn how to repair holes, sew buttons and snaps, add pockets, or create patterns and images with embroidery. All experience levels are welcome. Materials will be provided, but students are also welcome to bring their own!


S1151: Urban Ecology in Splash Spring 2024 (Apr. 07, 2024)
Whether we notice or not, Worcester is a unique and complex ecosystem. Come meet the plants, animals, and microorganisms that we share our neighborhoods with! We will discuss how to care for nature in the city. HYBRID - Students are able to join via Zoom if they cannot come to SPLASH in person

"Get an up-close look at our campus, from residence halls to the dining hall, classrooms to the athletic center. Learn about our curriculum and campus life — and get your questions answered." This tour will be led by Clark admissions ambassadors.

We will explore the plants, animals, and soils of Worcester! Learn how to make observations about your city, keep a nature journal, and protect the environment right in your neighborhood.

X1072: Intro to Rowing in Splash Spr 2022 (Mar. 20, 2022)
Students of all fitness + experience levels are welcome to learn how to use rowing machines! Being able to row can help you stay fit on land, or prepare you to join a rowing team and use actual boats. Class includes a short demonstration and then time for students to practice using Clark's varsity rowing equipment in the Kneller Athletic Center on campus. We recommend bringing clothes you can stretch in and a water bottle. IN-PERSON CLASS
