S971: STEM Majors in Splash Spring 2019 (Mar. 31, 2019)
Come learn about what it is like to be a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) major in college. We will go over what it is like in school and what it could be like after.


M985: Go: the game and how a computer beat it in Splash Spring 2019 (Mar. 31, 2019)
Go is a strategy board game that was invented more than 2,000 years ago and believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day. Despite having more possible positions atoms in the universe, the rules are very simple and can be learned within a few minutes. In this class you will learn how to play the game and learn how a machine had a historic breakthrough by beating a Go world champion in 2016.
