Learn how Physics is being used to predict the unpredictable world of Stock Market. Can you pick patterns in apparent randomness of wiggly stock charts? What's common between a drunkard on street, a gas molecule and price of a stock? Could physicists have predicted the stock market crash of 2008....and if anyone did how much money did he or she made?
In this class we'll discuss a few fundamental ideas from physics of random systems and see how they can be applied to study behavior of stock markets (believe me...absolutely no mathematics, just physics).
