Brief Biographical Sketch:

Gil Haven in a second year student at Clark from Philadelphia, PA. He can't decide what to major it, because he has way too many interests. Some of which include: The Environment, Politics, Sports, Science, History, Saving The World, etc.

He participated in SPLASH Fall 2015, and is really looking forward to teaching again.

H761: Impromptu Speaking in Splash Fall 2016 (Nov. 13, 2016)
Have you ever wanted to learn how politicians are always able to make stuff up on the spot? Do you want to sound smarter in conversations about thing you know nothing about? In this class we will attempt to learn the art of Impromptu Speech. We will look at videos of the art, and practice it with each other. By the end every student will have a better sense of how to debate and hopefully be able to use this skill in real life.


H554: Community Engagement and Organizing 101 in Splash Fall 2015 (Nov. 15, 2015)
Anyone can be involved in bringing change to their community. Voting is just one way you can make a difference, but this class will give you tools to effectively fight for what you believe in. Learn the basics of community engagement and get ready to get involved.
