In geometry, we learn that the square of a right triangle’s hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides. But how do we know that’s true? And who is this mysterious Pythagoras character who is said to have discovered it? Join us on a journey through time as we encounter a mystic, ancient Greek cult, and meet some of the great thinkers of the ancient world - from Greece to Egypt to India. We will retrace their steps and prove the Pythagorean Theorem ourselves. Bring your thinking caps and prepare to attack a fascinating geometrical puzzle that mathematicians have worked on for thousands of years.
