X562: Learning Happiness in Splash Fall 2015 (Nov. 15, 2015)
This course will allow the students to explore the ideas of simple meditation as well as question the ways in which they interact with others. We will be learning a very simple meditation that the students can do whenever they want whether this is every morning before school, when they become stressed out or even just find themselves getting nervous or anxious about something. After this we will be discussing ideas such as why we forgive, and why we have always been told to show kindness to others. The format of this class will be very discussion based and interactive however still facilitated and guided by the instructor. It will allow the students to present their own ideas on these topics and pose questions to each other in a safe and healthy environment.
