I grew up in the Boston suburbs. I really enjoy reading and writing. Last year I took a poetry class and began to really enjoy reading and writing poetry.

Join us in exploring your identity and how you connect with society! We will play some fun games, draw murals of what culture means to us, and make collages about our identities. Gain a sense of how your race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, and overall background intersect with who you are!


A747: Making Poetry Fun in Splash Fall 2016 (Nov. 13, 2016)
The poetry we learn in school is usually pretty boring and dull, it shouldn't be that. Poetry is about being imaginative and saying whatever comes to mind. Let's do some activities to spark our imaginations and creativity and write fun poems
