H553: Law and Order: How Crime Really Works in Splash Fall 2015 (Nov. 15, 2015)
Have you ever thought about the criminal procedures of the United States? Have you wondered if life is really like Law and Order? WELL NOT REALLY.Come take a look as we dive into the procedures of criminal law and how it REALLY goes down. We will talk about the processes of arrest, actual court interactions, and finally TRIAL or how most cases don't even go to trial. We will dive into these conversations, your curiosities, and even talk about the death penalty- a rather complicated process.


H380: What You Didn't Know About the U.S. Presidents in Splash Fall 2014 (Nov. 16, 2014)
The United States has long been known for the presidents that have helped shape the world we now live in today (for better or worse). From George Washington to our current president, Barack Obama, learn all that makes the U.S. quite spectacular. This is, U.S. presidents AFTER HOURS- jeopardy style.


H292: Adolf Hitler & the Holocaust in Splash Spring 2014 (Apr. 13, 2014)
The genocide that took place in Germany from during World War II was known as the Holocaust, which was carried out by dictator Adolf Hitler. In this course, we will be exploring Adolf Hitler's life and looking closely at the events that lead to the execution of more than six million Jews. The class will begin by having a discussion of the Holocaust and why it was able to effectively execute so many due to surrounding circumstances. The second half will persist of watching a movie pertaining to the Holocaust, known as "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas".
