H632: The Power of the Pen: Empowering Students to Demand Social Change in Splash Spring 2016 (Apr. 10, 2016)
Students will learn about issues like education, environment, and hunger and how they intersect and impact their communities. The importance of engaging in social justice causes will be explained thoroughly. Participants will able to voice their opinions and concern to a person in government before actually being eligible to vote. Formal letters will be written to government officials who have the responsibility to enact change on behalf of their constituents. The physical letters will be signed, sealed, and delivered.
